Its Tanzania oldest and most popular national park was recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder.
It’s popular for its annual migration of over one million wildebeests and 200,000 zebras.
Serengeti comes from a Maasai word meaning “Endless plain”. The Maasai have been grazing their livestock in the open plains for years.

It’s a continuous of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya,to the South- East  of the park is Ngorongoro Conservation Area, to the South-West lies Maswa Game Reserve, to the West are Ikorongo and Grumet Game Reserve finally to the North –East lies Loliondo Game control Area.

The climate is usually warm and dry. The rainy season is usually from March to May, short rains falling from October to November.
There is plenty of wildlife to see the White Beard wildebeests, the zebras, Thompson gazelle, leopard, lions, cheetah, and giraffe.
Over 500 bird species ranging from ostrich, black eagles, secretary bird.

There are a lot of activities to do such as Game viewing, hot air balloon safaris, walking safari, visiting the Ngorongoro crater and many more.
